well-written articles profiling assigned companies/organizations to be
published in B2B magazines. Writers will be given a two-week window of
time for each assignment. Assignments vary in length between 625 words
and 750 words. Pay is 16 cents per word ($100 for 625-word assignments,
$120 for 750-word assignments). Chicago Manual of Style guidelines used.

TECHNICAL WRITER WANTED

We are working with our client in locating a Technical Writer to upgrade
the content of a product installation and user guides (8 to 10 manuals
between 20 and 40 pages each in length). The product is technical and
includes sensors, cables, electronic modules, and displays mounted on
heavy trucks. About 20% of the content will need to be updated (with new
products information, etc.).

You will provide recommendations in order to upgrade the style and
professional format of the manuals. The authoring tool needs to be
upgraded (currently using MS Word). A highly professional template needs
to be created. Also the illustrations need to be improved and
standardized. The audience includes truck and trailer dealer mechanics.

Job Requirements:
* Heavy trucking industry experience (components hook-up to the dashes,
chassis, and suspensions of heavy trucks)
* 3+ years of experience in technical writing: installation guides,
operation manuals, etc.
* Skilled graphic illustrator in addition to excellent writing skills
* Detail-oriented

Start Date: Mid August
Duration: 1+ month (candidates will provide additional input during
interview)

WRITER TO ADAPT A NOVEL INTO A SCRIPT NEEDED

I am looking for a writer that can adapt a novel into a script for a
graphic novel.

As part of my desire to move New Baby Productions into the horror graphic
novel genre, I am discussing with a novelist about the possibility of
adapting his vampire story into a graphic novel. I am not completely
finished with the book, but so far I believe it would work very well in
our targeted genre. So I thought I would get a jump on finding a writer.
