COMEDY WRITER NEEDED

Comedy writer needed for a new kids' series targeted at ages 6-13.

Live-action show will be in the form of a series of sketches similar to
Saturday Night Live or Sesame Street. The comedy is more mature than the
typical fare but will also include slapstick and farce.

The first episode will require approximately 20-25 pages of screenplay
formatted writing in the form of around 15 sketches.

We will pay an advance plus possible residuals from net sales. Writer will
receive co-writer credit on the episode which he/she works on. There are
nine episodes planned for this series, so if the first episode is
successful, we'll be back for more of your work.

Please send sample comedy sketches with length between 30 seconds and 4
minutes in your e-mail. Don't worry about formatting if you need to send
plaintext - we want to examine your wit, not your Final Draft software
capabilities.

In these sketches, we're looking for sharp, clever writing that can subtly
reference a political or moral theme.

Sample of kids' work is preferred, but not necessary.
