EDITOR NEEDED FOR LEGAL WRITINGS

I am a consultant and expert witness for law firms. I work only in the
area of intellectual property with a specific emphasis on trademark
matters. I am looking for an editor who will check over / edit my reports
from a grammar / sentence structure perspective and not for the legal
aspects of the report. I already have a retired trademark attorney who
will review the report after you have finished it. He will address the
legal points raised in the report.

I prepare about 4-6 reports a year and the reports range from 30-200 pages.
Some are simply declarations and some are expert reports. I usually get my
projects about 3 or so weeks before they are due and it generally takes me
2 weeks or so to complete my research and write a good draft report. In
most instances you will only have 1-2 days to do your editing. I use WORD
so you can make your edits with Track Changes On and I can review them
that way.

You MUST have experience as an editor and preferably have some experience
in the legal field although that isn't a requirement--just a preference.
I am located in Texas (outside of Dallas) but it doesn't matter where you
live or work since everything can be handled by email. You can look at my

I have a script written based on the novels by Guy de Maupassant (‘The
Inn’) and Edgar Allan Poe. My first language is not English and I have
problems with the dialogs. I’m looking for somebody who can ‘fix’ (write)
it. Synopses: six people (alpinists) got trapped by avalanche and have to
survive during the winter in seclude house. The action takes place in the
19th century in Alps, so I need somebody who knows the linguistics of this
period.

I would prefer to work with somebody who over 30 years old, have a major in
literature and psychology.

The work is going to be for hire, you’ll get the credit as a co-writer.

I do understand it’ll take a month or so to do the job.
