YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Write articles:
- Meet with us over skype/phone for a quick discussion of the main ideas
(Don't worry, you don't have to dress up - we care about your work, not
your look. Plus, we keep the meeting very short and focused, since we don't
like to waste anyone's time)
- Synthesize articles/scientific studies (we'll send them to you according
to topic) into posts.
- Write posts that are 500-800 words long.
- Structure the info in an easily digestible format (i.e. make it scannable
by using headings / short paragraphs / lists.)
- Use basic knowledge of SEO (judiciously add keywords in body copy and
headlines)

Maintain Writing Style:
- Create snappy headlines.
- Have perfect use of the English language, including excellent grammar/
spelling.
- Maintain a friendly, personal, yet professional style. A small touch of
humor is a-ok.
- Give the maximum amount of information with the least amount of words.
(You know it takes time to edit things to be simple and easy to read.)

Edit and Post Articles:
- Edit your 1st draft based on our notes (we usually work/edit via Google
Docs).
- Add 2nd/final draft to Wordpress on approval.
- Pick a few blog post photos for us to choose from (we use istockphoto)
and add to Wordpress the one we choose/buy and send to you.
- Intelligently link post content to related subject matter (as footlinks)
and/or to related posts in the same blog
- Assign one primary and a few sub-categories to each post
- Tag all posts
