I am looking for a fresh pair of eyes to review the copy of a technical
manuscript, primarily to discover any typographical errors, grammatical
errors, spelling errors or unclear language that may have been missed by
the primary editor. After this second pass, the book will go to the
printer. I do not anticipate there are many errors to find, if any, but I
would like to have someone double-check the copy before we go to print.

Some scientific background is an advantage, but not necessary. However,
this is an ideal job for someone aspiring to be a science journalist or
writer.

HINT: Likely to be something quite significant to add to your resume...

Experience required:
- Proven writing and editing skills.
- Someone with some background in physical science or a track record in
science journalism is most desirable, but this is not necessary for the

The book is a self development perspective on life, balance and success,
with 27 chapters and a total of 95 pages. Once it is published, the total
page count should be around 140. I would prefer to work with someone who

We are a market research company. We publish reports. We have written a 50
page report (in a 'enumerating' style). That report needs to be edited
before we publish it. That is where we need help.

We are looking for somebody who can edit what we have written so that it
can be published. By editing we mean convert the dry, 'enumerating' style
we have used into a sober, business-like, yet engaging style (comparable to
the style of the Wall Street Journal or the economic and business section
of the New York Times). What we do not need is a sensational tone or the
